education of their children. Every participant works with their school community to create a leadership
project. - More -

The Alabama Parent Education Center (APEC) is a non-profit organized by parents in central Alabama. We were formed to provide parents with training and information to help them become meaningful participants in their children's education.
We operate projects such as the Alabama Network for
Children with Disabilities and the Alabama Statewide Parent Information and Resource Center. A full list of current projects is in the right sidebar.
We believe that parents have the greatest impact on their children's lives. APEC provides families with the training, information and support they need to help them ensure that their children become productive, well-educated citizens.
APEC has received over $6,000 from the Coca Cola Bottling Company and over $2,000 in contributions from The Book Basket. Buffalo Rock Bottling Company has just created a partnership with APEC to provide refreshments to families in our workshops. Smokey Bones BBQ, Office Depot, and Pizza Hut are also sponsors who support our projects.
A special thanks to all of our many donors! We depend on their support to
continue our work. If you are interested in supporting our program in any way, click here or call our office at
334-567-2252.
