ALPIRC serves parents in every county of Alabama providing training, information and support to parents of children in low performing schools and annual regional Parent Leadership training. - More -
The APLE Academy consists of one orientation session and five one day sessions over the course of one academic year.
Participants are teams of parents and teachers who will enhance their skills so they may help others become true partners in the
education of their children. Every participant works with their school community to create a leadership

AL PTI NCD is a statewide project providing training and information to
parents of special needs students. We train Parent Leaders across the state to work with other parents to improve the
educational outcome of disabled students. - More -
PACE provides programming to assist adult learners who are committed to improving their academic and life skills, including adults
preparing for their GED. This program operates in conjunction with other family serving agencies to provide services. - More -
CCPY is a joint project of the APEC, Coosa County Public Schools, Cheaha Mental Health Center and the Alabama Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation. CCPY's goal is to improve the existing system for the delivery of mental health services to children attending public schools. - More -
The APEC's Fatherhood Initiative Program, generously funded by the Children's Trust Fund of Alabama, was designed to reduce childhood abuse and neglect by encouraging the increased involvement of fathers. - More -
ALPIRC Institutes are year long projects conducted in low performing schools in the Central Alabama region.
Each school participates in a Parent Involvement Survey, a faculty inservice, and a series of parent meetings throughout the course of the school year.
